Price Match

All she needed

was a reason

another hard to swallow thing

down the hatch,

one thinking

one could pull one over

doesn’t know

she lives to price match,

claims to want

to be treated as an equal

yet expects special privileges

that doesn’t match,

fool her once

shame on your

you’ll be lucky if

you get a second chance,

 but if you do

you poor fool

and watch your back,

a broken heart

is a fully loaded gun

that’s sometimes is

more literal and FACT

what im trying not to do

what I aim to do

and my end result

seem to be

two different things,

what my heart wants

and my body gets

hardly ever falls

into the in between,

over the edge

way across

over the fence

it seems to lean,

scared of where

the ball will bounce

keeps me on call

scared to leave,

so like an addict

once I catch a whiff

my senses lock

and I tend to cling,

my heart goes blind

my mind rewinds

my body’s numb

and I feel not a thing,

so as if an option

I bob my head to opt in

an engagement

I have no way of controlling,

I go with the wind

slip streaming once momentum begins

not landing where I calculate

but getting where is needed

then the end

hot sauce to go

spicy like no other

louder than a mother

filled with more curse words than a sailor and dirty trucker

never one to bite their tongue even if in a hazy mush mouth sleepy slumber

when this one speaks they expect the other

to listen/paying full attention or their voice will get as ferocious as thunder

they throw a fit and yet we wonder

if that’s what we allow we only prove them right

a parent shouldnt be negligent they should put up a fight

this your seed, your representation your pride

next time they yell sprinkle some hot sauce in their mouths, they’ll be alright

on repeat

everything has a 360 degrees

once you start in one path & eventually

come full circle with experience that deems

what will happen if you apply the equation that seemed

like a good idea at 1st but was it in deed?

how could it not if a lesson was received

woe to the fool who continues to repeat
